Regular and Heavy Towing

Regular and Heavy Towing Century Inc. offers 24/7 towing and recovery services in the Richmond Tri-city area. Transport of your vehicle rests in the hands of highly trained, professional, and uniformed operators with skills to transport any type of vehicle on the road today. Our trucks are the newest and latest in design, from rollbacks that completely move your vehicle off the road to wheelifts that cradle each tire to insure no damage to your vehicle. Many automobiles on the road today have unique and special attachment points which require special equipment. We carry the latest in special-grade 70 chain, straps, T & R hooks and even the new mini-Js. Motorcycles are transported safely and damage-free on our rollbacks using special webbing and nylon straps.

Heavy Transportation Heavy Transport

We currently utilize 3 heavy-duty tractors, 1 35-ton Lowboy, 1 50-ton Tri-Axle Lowboy and the very specialized 53' Landoll hydraulic moving axle trailer. We have moved some of the largest and most difficult pieces of machinery and construction equipment in our area, including bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, graders, pans, transformers, pavers and rollers. Century Inc. also utilizes 48' step and flatbed trailers when the need arises for day-to-day freight hauling. Local LTL freight is always appreciated!

Jump Starts

Century offers jump starting aids such as heavy-duty, portable jump-boxes offering 900cca that can be carried into areas where our trucks would not fit, including many parking garages/decks, small garages and more. We also have safe and reliable 1 gauge plug-in cables capable of 1700cca of power for the weakest of batteries or semi-trucks. All are polarization protected to prevent damage to sensitive electrical systems on some vehicles.

Tire Changes

We offer tire changing ability on most cars and trucks. Many of our service vehicles carry portable hydraulic jacks and 4-Way lug wrenches just in case yours is missing or broken. Century also offers tire plug service on certain types of tires and air using only Tech Tire plugs and accessories for the best possible repair. Look for special bulletins in the summer for heavy-duty tire service that we will add to the heavy duty department offering roadside assistance for tractor-trailers and other types of non-automotive-type tires. This service is also available 24/7.

Lockouts

We offer excellence in the unlock capabilities in the automotive field. We are able to open all cars and trucks damage-free, without even making a key. We have specially trained technicians in this field to open even the most delicate locks, including the ones with side-impact air bags. This service usually takes no longer than 15 minutes.
